Key Trends
❖Tier 3 cities are leading the growth in
hotel signings due to their remote and
underdeveloped locations, making them
ideal for leisure tourism
❖Due to a notable shift in consumer
preferences towards experience travel,
hotel companies are moving from
business to leisure markets and
expanding into smaller cities to meet
rising demand and address the lack of
quality offerings
❖Hotel operators are adapting to changing
consumer preferences by launching new
brands and diversifying segments. ITC
introduced the Storii brand, IHCL is
expanding into alternative
accommodations with amã Stays & Trails,
catering to the growing demand for
homestays & villa rentals
