HARYANA INDUSTRIAL POLICY INDUSTRIAL LICENSING POLICY : The Haryana Enterprises and Employment Policy, 2020 provides guidelines for industrial development in the state. Warehousing can now be considered as part of the industry within an industrial township , subject to compliance with planning parameters. Colonizers must complete infrastructure facilities and allocate a portion of the industrial area before occupying residential and commercial spaces. IMTs are planned to be established at suitable locations in the state, each comprising an initial area of about 2000 acres , drawing upon the successful experience of IMT Manesar . HARYANA INDUSTRIAL POLICY AMENDMENTS IN THE POLICY Apart from no capping on upper limit of area (in acres) for carving out industrial park or colony, the minimum area has been reduced from 50 to 25 acres, providing a second slab till 100 acres against the previous one till 200 acres. The new policy for industrial colonies now requires a minimum of 100 acres, with specific zoning rules like allocating 45-65% for industrial plots and 20-25% for residential and commercial areas, limiting the commercial space to 5%. In industrial colonies of 100 acres or more, a minimum of 35% industrial plots, 30% residential/commercial areas, and 10% community service areas are required, with plans for dedicated industrial clusters for uniform growth.
