Our Ear

What’s Inside?

Outer Ear Pinna Auditory Canal

Middle Ear Ear drum Hammer Anvil Stirrup

Inner Ear Cochlea Auditory Nerve

How does it work?

Sound Pollution Generally defined as any type of excessively loud or disturbing noise that disrupts a person’s life.

Causes in Bangladesh Traffic Sounds Caused by vehicles and their horns Loud noise Produced by loud music, speakers, etc Industrial Area For example, factories, construction sites, etc

Our model

Overview When a sound wave above 45 dB is travelling through the structure, it gets reduced to a safer level. As the sound wave passes through each layer of dense rubber , it gets reduced. At one stage, the wave enters a vacuum chamber where the sound is reduced as much as possible. The resulted noise which reaches the ear is now much safer than it was before.

Materials

Materials Vaccum Chamber

Materials Rubber Body

Materials Plastic barrier

Plugging it in

Pros & Cons CHEAP Made with cheap materials EFFECTIVE Reduces noise as much possible AVAILIBILE Anyone can use it COMFORTABLE No ear strain/ache VACUUM The chamber must be strong NOT COMPLETELY AIRTIGHT A small portion remains open to sound

Thank you !
