Extremely sturdy one-piece scopemount, with possibility to attach multiple optical
accessories directly to the mount. Built-in level. 45 degree split of the rings gives
better view of the turrets. Straight and tilted mounts available.

Notes on mounting
The rings are machined with circular groves that could be used
for gluing the scope. Gluing is a good solution when the gun
and the scope is used extensively in 4WD vehicles and in other
applications with severe vibrations. For normal use (including
mostly military, law enforcement and civilian use) we strongly
recommend the use of small amount of rosin between the

scope and the rings (available from Midway). Rosin is a very
good gripping ag
ent that prevents slipping. Its also very easy to
r
emove with some alcohol when it’s not desired any more.
Ring screws are delivered waxed. C ustomers working in extreme
conditions might want to degreas
e the screws and screw holes to
loctite instead.

We recommend the use of “screwdriver” style torx keys to make
the mounting easier and smoother. The torx keyhole is rather
shallow and with the screwdriver style key it’s no problem.
On most models the base screws can be staked at the end to
become non-removable.
Leveling the scope
The 10 degree wedge is a solution for indexing the rotation of
the scope, using the included gauge/wedge to index the scope
correctly to the mount and gun. A very important feature as a
incorrectly indexed scope unintentionally will be adjusted side-
ways when it is adjusted for elevation. Slide the wedge under
the scope to assure that it is level with the mount just before
tightening the screws.
Picatinnys
We recommend direct mounting if possible on firearms with
own integral rail, such as Accuracy international and TRG,
instead of the use of Picatinny
The picatinny mounts have its contact surfaces minimized
against the firearms Picatinny in order to enhance the repeat-
ability of the mount.
Interfaces
Mount is machined with several interfaces all over the mount.
The interfaces on the rings will follow the scope, so in case the
mount is a tilted version, ring interfaces are tilted to. The base
interfaces follows the base and is thus without tilt.
We highly recommend the use of lasers and illuminators and
secondary sights on the mount as those are more stable there,
than they are on the handguard that actually moves when a
heavy rest is used against the forearm.
Always check length of screws before attaching an accessory, as
screws might vary in length or by being wrong. Marred scopes
due to too long screws are owners responsibility.
The level
The level is made out of plastic and is quickly interchange-
able. Just remove the M8 set screw in the rear of the base
and push out the level. Replacement levels are available
from us. Only apply very light force when set screw is at-
tached to not crack level.
Repeatability.
We have done ou
r outmost to enhance the repeatability. The
c
ontact surface against the picatinny have been limited, and
we have added nu
mbers to the sideclamp. Numbered from
1
-4 it shows in what order you should tighten the screws to
get maximum of repeatability. St
arting on 1 and just doing it
l
ightly finger tight, follows on the other screws. Tighten fully
to full torque i
n next step.
Torque
There is one big
limitation with torque keys, they are very de-
pendent on the s
ame amount of oil/grease/wax on the screws
to give the sam
e torque and the friction in the thread and the
screwhead is ver
y important to achieve this. In the shooting
range or works
hop environment that is not a problem, but in
the field or eve
n worse after a month in the sandbox the situa-
tion will be en
tirely different. Therefore our recommendation
is to tighten
the screws with a torque key, when the mount
first is assemb
led. Beside each screw on the side clamp there is
a index mark. M
ark the screw with a small file or equivalent,
after the screw is torqued to th
e right amount. In the future
w
hen you are reinstalling your mount on the same rail you
don’t use the tor
que key but a standard key and you turn the
screw to the ind
ex mark. Torque v alues for ring screws are
1
5-25 in/lbs (1,9-2,9Nm) and 45 in/lbs – depending on scope
manufactures re
commendations.
(5 Nm) for the side clamp.
Captive screws
All our mounts with mounting screws not visible from the underside have their screw holes prepared for captive screws. The mount are unless special ordered always with removable screws, but they can be stalked when mounted so they easily can be opened but they can never leave the mount. Either the mount has to be stalked before it leaves us, or you can easily do it yourself with a proper tool from the left side of the mount.
