Welcome to my presentation Discussion point: Interference in Communication

Introduce: Submitted to: Chitra Biswas Lecturer ETE,FSET,USTC Submitted by: Ananda Mohan Shil Department of EEE Batch:15 th ID:15010324

Anything that impedes the communication of a message. Have two kinds of interference in public speaking. External & Internal . Interference :

Basic Channel of Interference: 1.Co-channel Interference 2.Adjacent Interference

Co-channel interference depends on:R:cell radius D=distance to center of the nearest co-channel cell If d/R then spatial separation relative to cell coverage area Improved isolation from co-channel Rf energy Q=D/R: Co-channel refuse ratio Co –channel : When frequency reuse is implement ,several cells within a given coverage area use the same set of frequencies. Two cells using the same set frequency are called co-channel.

Co-Channel Figure:

Adjacent Channel: 1.Result from imperfect receiver filter ,allowing nearby frequencies to lack into pass band. 2.Can be minimized be careful filtering &channel assignments. 3.Channels are assigned such that frequency separation between channel are maximized .

Adjacent Channel
