INTRODUCTION DANIDA is the term used for Denmark’s development cooperation, which is an area of activity under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark . Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA) Policy aims to combat fighting poverty through promotion of human rights and economic growth . Founded1962 Headquarters Copenhagen , Denmark
DANIDA has responsibility for the planning, implementation and quality assurance of Denmark’s development cooperation. DENMARK has been granting development assistance since the end of the Second World War. DANIDA also works in collaboration with the United Nations , the World Bank , regional development banks and the European Union.
As of 2015, DANIDA is involved in a total of 73 countries and regions across the world, with 21 countries of high priority. Most of the priority countries are among the poorest of the world, located in Africa and Asia

DANIDA Activities in INDIA Denmark has been giving bilateral development assistance to India since 1963. Activities under Health sector The Government of Denmark is providing assistance for the development of services under National Blindness Control Programme since 1978. DANIDA assists the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme since 1966. Danida supported National Leprosy Eradication Programme (DANLEP)

INTRODUCTION The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency is a government agency of the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs Formed in 1995 Headquarters in Stockholm , Sweden Employees about 900 Website www.sida.se Sida is responsible for organization of the bulk of Sweden's official development assistance to developing countries .
SIDA also affirms respect of human rights , democracy and gender equality . SIDA gave an aide for "Equal State and Human Rights of Women in Southeast Asia" by Asia Pacific Forum SIDA strive to reduce world poverty by allocating resources and knowledge with the goal of making a difference for people in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America
Mission And Vision The goal is to enable people living in poverty and oppression to improve their lives SIDA vision is to safeguard the rights of every individual and their opportunity to live a dignified life.
ORGANISATION Sida's head office is located at Valhallavägen in Stockholm, but staff are also stationed in the partner countries . SIDA organized in eight departments Internal Audit and the Director-General's Office . Five departments work with implementing the development assistance Three with support, steering and control .
The total number of employees is 782 people (June 2016), of which approximately 150 persons work outside Sweden. Approximately 65 per cent of the employees are women.
The Director-General's Office The Director-General has the ultimate responsibility for implementing government and parliament decisions and for resolving overall issues regarding Sida's organisation . The main mission for the Director-General's Office is the overall coordination of the agency's activities and provide strategic support in the daily work of the Director-General and Deputy Director-General.
The Director-General's Office also ensures an adequate internal control . The team is also responsible for the overall coordination of Sida's dialogue with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Chief Controller function. The independent function is corruption investigation.
ROLE SIDA role is to allocate financial resources and to develop knowledge and competence, while SIDA partners manage and execute the projects. Each country is responsible for its own development, and SIDA local partners always have the best solutions for local problems . The fight against corruption is one of Sida’s top priorities Sida is actively striving to ensure openness and transparency in the development work
FUNDING Sweden’s development cooperation resources are funded through tax revenue. Sweden’s total development aid budget for 2020 is SEK 52 billion The goal for Swedish development aid is to create better living conditions for people living in poverty and oppression.

Follow-up And Results Each year, Sida submits an annual report to the government, with information about costs, revenues and results. The government carries out follow-up work and evaluates the agency’s operations based on this annual report . The Swedish National Audit Office examine Sida’s operations.
