2. Introduction of Samad Apparel Pvt Ltd Samad Apparel is a venture of the Samad Group of Industries. It is a family-owned corporation now run by its third generation. Set upon the vision of bringing sustainability and growth to Pakistan’s textile industry, the parent group came up with a strategic decision to establish a woven garment manufacturing plant as Samad Apparel in 2009. Samad Apparel is one of the pioneer Fashion Garment Manufacturing Companies in Pakistan. We provide complete cut-to-pack denim woven garments manufacturing services by maintaining the best quality measures to elevate customer satisfaction.

3. Duties Performed Sampling follow-up and make samples for customer. SAP Software working(generate order and sampling working). Sample costing working and data in the costing sheet. Customer Enquiry costing. Arrange fabrics and trims according to customer tech pack for sampling.

4. What I learned I learned industry flow and planning processes. I learned different departments’ working processes. I learn SAP & system Working (enquiry generate+costing process&sampling ,order working )etc. I learned the marketing process and customer order working. I learned internal problem-solving processes and teamwork.

5. Swot Analysis Strengths: Their work environment is employee-friendly and they have targeted customer needs. The upper management is very skilled and well-experienced in this. They have the capability to sort out every problem within the department and to tackle them properly. Weaknesses: The equipment used there is not fully automated. Wastage of time to move garments from one unit to another unit and they need to 5S implementation. Opportunities: Can reduce the cost by proper utilization of resources. As they have started a new garments unit, they have a lot of new graduates and laborers. Threats: Economic fluctuations affecting the industry. Intense competition within the textile sector. Rapid technological advancements requiring continuous learning.
