52 year old man with diabetes presented with giddiness and drowsiness with ? H/o seizure
MRI brain - posterior circulation stroke
Managed conservatively
On routine ward rounds - left radial artery feeble to palpate
CT angiography - proximal left subclavian artery occlusion
On dual anti platelets and statins - three weeks later taken up for left subclavian angioplasty
Left radial artery access and right femoral artery access - lesion crossed from radial -
balloon angioplasty and 7x47mm ballon expandable stent placement
Patient doing well - almost 1 year follow up. No further strokes / TIA
After 2 weeks taken for angioplasty
