Successful coursework trial last year Students were specifically tasked with using Generative AI to: answer a set question refine the initial answer using the tool AND further research elsewhere critically reflect on the changes they made to arrive at a “full” answer assessment was only based on the reflection, not the content Objective was to enhance employability and critical thinking skills Full details and results are in our EduExe blogpost

Student Feedback on the coursework Interacting with ChatGPT for this task encouraged me to think critically and strategically. The process of asking questions to ChatGPT and exploring different angles of the same question has increased my critical thinking and communication skills. The action of changing a few words to enable a more informative and evaluative response has enabled me to create better styled questions for any queries during my learning at University and for any future career plans. (Felicity Thomas, BSc Business Strategy and Marketing)
Student Feedback on the module The Digital Technology and the Future of Work module really opened my eyes to the significant value that technology has brought into our everyday lives. Specifically, I really enjoyed learning about the concept of Smart Cities and the various sustainability challenges that can be addressed through the adaptation of current systems with the aid of technology. It was also insightful to hear about the inequality that the increased reliance on technology has created – further bridging the gap between those that have access to it and those that do not. How can we ensure technological development doesn’t outgrow the capacity for people to be able to use it? All in all, it was a fantastic module that I’d highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about how it is that the future landscape of both our working lives and personal lives will change and what it is as students that we can do to prepare for such change in a way that doesn’t compromise the integrity of our work. (Anna Pearce, BSc Business, Penryn)
AI submission or submission to AI? Week 2 Activity 1. Watch the 10-minute film " Robort " 2. Critically reflect on your experience: - Note features you enjoyed - Note aspects you didn't like 3. Come to your week 2 webinar prepared to share some emotions you experienced while watching the film. How can we ensure GenAI is a “Force for Good”?
