What is healthcare?
Primary care –health care provided by general practitioners
or other health professionals to whom patients seeking
medical treatment have direct access and to whom they can
self-refer.
secondary care –health care provided by medical specialists
or hospital staff for a patient whose primary care was
provided by a general practitioner. Secondary care cannot be
access directly by patients.
Tertiary care –services provided by specialized hospitals
equipped with diagnostic and facilities not available at
general hospitals.
