Washington Accord An international body Responsible for accrediting UG Programs based on the academic requirements for entry to Practice Engineering. NBA becomes the Provisional member of Washington Accord (WA) in 2007. NBA got the status of permanent Signatory in 13 th June 2014.
What is NBA Full form- National Board of Accreditation Set up in September 1994 by AICTE. To assess the quality of the programs offered in Technical Educational Institutions. NBA becomes Autonomous w.e.f Jan 2010. Rules of NBA amended in April 2013- Completely independent of AICTE administratively as well as financially.
