INTRODUCTION
Labeorohita, commonly known as Rohu, is a significant species in
aquaculture, particularly in South Asia, including India, Bangladesh,
Nepal, Myanmar, and Pakistan. This omnivorous fish belongs to the
carp family and is primarily found in freshwater rivers.
