1. You wash clothes in it . Washing machine In 1874 , William Blackstone of Indiana built a birthday present for his wife . It was a machine which removed and washed away dirt from clothes . The first washing machines designed for convenient use at home .

2. You use this thing to clean your flat , carpets . Vacuum cleaner The first powered vacuum cleaner was invented in 1901 by Hubert Cecil Booth .

3. You can communicate with people who are away from you using this thing . It is very compact ; you can carry it in your bag or pocket . It has many functions , it can wake you up in the morning , you can enjoy listening to music with the help of it and even enjoy playing games . Mobile phone The   first mobile phone call  was made in 1973 , by Motorola employee Martin Cooper.

4 . You can cook , defrost and reheat   prepared food in it . Microwave oven It was invented by Dr. Percy Le Baron Spencer. In 1947, the first commercial microwave oven hit the market .

5 . You can wash dirty dishes in it . Dishwasher Josephine Garis Cochran invented the first useful dishwasher in 1886.
