3. After the Death of Holy Prophet (PBUH) , the time of four caliphs beguns . Hazrat Abu Bakar (RA) becomes the first caliph of Islam and he served for only 2 years. He made Madinah as the capital city of islam . Hazrat Umar (RA) was the 2nd caliph after Hazrat Abu Bakr(RA) and he served for 10 years.

4. Hazrat Usman(RA) was the 3rd caliph of Islam and he ruled for 12 years , and Madinah remained the capital. Hazrat Ali (RA) was the last caliph of Islam and he ruled for 06 years , he changed the capital of Islam from Madinah to Kuffa . After the martydrom of Hazrat Ali (RA) , Hazrat Ameer Mauwiya (RA) who was the governor of Syria attacked the throne and wanted to make his son Yazeed bin Mauwiya as the caliph but he was not succeeded , he made Damascus as the Capital of Islam.

5. Role of Arab Traders: In the he start of 8th century Arab traders used to come in sub continet for trading purpose then they preached the knowledge about Islam among the local people of sub continent , many people accepted Islam after knowing the facts about Islam.

6. Role of MuslimSufis : Muslim sufis played the vital role in the spreading of Islam in sub-continent, they taught people by love and compel them to accept Islam through Islamic teaching. Few famous names are Hazrat khuwaja Moeen ud din chishti , Shah Waliullah , Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and many more sufi saints.
