・ The labour market since 2010 has brought both light and shade [| ーー
・ Employment rate reaching a record high, followed by a post-pandemic fall

・ Record pay stagnation, but a minimum wage boost for low earners

Conclusion

・ Looking ahead, whichever party wins the election will face the
challenge of boosting employment

・ But the election’s outcome will determine whether we see a
continuation of the current system, or the biggest overhaul of
labour market rights in a generation
