There are numerous causes that can trigger kidney failure in people. Some of the common
causes are hypovolemia known as blood loss, dehydration from loss of fluid, poor intake of
fluids, prolonged intake of medicines, abnormal blood flow, and family history of the
disease and bladder infection. These reasons can cause eventual kidney failure.
What signs and symptoms can kidney?
Initially, kidney disease may not produce any symptoms and signs. As kidney functions are
damaged, the symptoms occur due to the inability to regulate water and electrolyte
balances, clear waste products from the body and promote red blood cell production. If
unrecognized or untreated, the following symptoms can be life-threatening. Some of the
common signs that one can face in advanced stages of the kidneys are:
Lethargy
Fatigue
Nausea and vomiting
Loss of appetite
Weakness due to anemia
Swollen ankles, hands, feet, and face

The rise in the level of urea in the blood
Abnormal weight loss or weight gain

functions. The kidney during this condition is not able to remove excess water, salt and
potassium from the blood. So, it is important to take care of the food that one intake, such
as:
Potassium-containing food such as apricots, bananas, yogurt, spinach, and avocados
should be avoided
High phosphorus protein food like milk, cheese, oysters, nuts, beans, whole grain
products, lentils should be limited to safer quantity
Fresh fruits and vegetables should be included in the daily diet
Alcohol, caffeine, aerated drinks, and orange juice should be avoided
