1.0 PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to briefly describe major activities in the fabrication and erection of
PHE-12, PHE-24 and CPP2 Jacket which will be fabricated at PT. Gunanusa Utama Fabricators
(PTG) Yard. ThePHE-12, PHE-24 Jacket will be fabricated at area between jetty-1 and jetty-2 while
CPP2 jacket will be fabricated on jetty-2. The PHE-12, PHE-24 will be transported to barge by using
Multiwheel method while the CPP2 Jacket uses skidding method.
To accommodate fabrication, Construction Engineering Dept. will support Fabrication Dept. by issuing
pertinent documents such as: shop drawing, MTO, cutting instruction and template as necessary.
Such documents will also be issued to QC Dept. and client.
Some following detail procedures, which are needed during fabrication and erection, will be prepared
and issued separately with achieving status “AFC” (approved for construction) first prior to execution at
yard. Please see Section 3 “Refrences” for list of the following procedure.
Main components such as design drawing from Engineering Company, fabrication and erection area
plan, manpower plan, material arrival, NDE plan, weld map, inspection and test plan, tools, equipment,
and consumables shall also be controlled prior the work execution and during the execution to allow
schedule leveling.
Fabrication activity will be carried out inside shop area, as much as possible, and in open area where
detail of location as guided by yard layout which will be updated and issued monthly.
Regular briefing will be conducted to make sure that fabrication and erection works performed in
accordance with the approved procedure and in a safe manner. Specific risk assessment will be
developed on the above listed detail procedure as guidance during safety toolbox.
2.0 SCOPE
This document shall describe all major activities in fabrication and erection process until load-out. This
will only cover major points of the activities while the detailed point shall be described in separate
document.

5.0 PREPARATION
5.1. Yard Preparation
The PHE-12 and PHE-24 Jacket will be fabricated at area between jetty-1 and jetty-2 and CPP2
Jacket will be fabricated completely at Jetty-2 area, please refer to appendix-1 (Yard Lay-out). The
following shall be done prior to fabrication activity:
1. Site clearance on area at jetty-2, also between Jetty-1 and Jetty-2 area
2. Ground preparation at PHE-12, PHE-24 and CPP2 Jacket assembly area, soil compactness for
multi wheel track and preparation concrete block for sited the skid frame.
3. Prepare temporary support at assembly area for PHE-12 and PHE 24 panel levels to support the
framing and nodes on area between jetty-1 and jetty-2. Do the same for jetty-2 area as it will be
used to assembly CPP2 Jacket. Make the grid lines at top of stools (T beam) to identify centre
point of stools or nodes.
4. Preparation design skid frame and cross beam
5.2. Material Issuance
Raw material to be issued as per issued tickets prepared by fabrication based on the approved shop
drawing, cutting instruction, and fabrication priority.
Flowchart of material issuance
5.3. Tag Numbering
All of structure components, pieces or members will be marked with a unique tag number as specified
on the shop drawing. However, the tag number will not be applied for small pieces where tag number
area is too small e.g.: less than 50 mm in size (i.e.: cap plate). Instead, those pieces shall be put inside
identified boxes or on pallets.
The numbering systems are expected to be as tracing tool to which module a component belongs.
Heat number shall be transferred to all components and on cut off / excess materials, surplus or even
scrap material before perform any cutting activity.
Please refer to document PHEWMO-PHE12-PHE24-CPP2-Z-PRC-0006 - Shop Drawing, Tag
Numbering, and Cutting Instruction Procedure.
5.4. Blasting and Painting
Raw material that dedicate until topcoat will be shop primer at automatic blasting chamber prior to
process cutting. All detail activity of blasting and painting procedure will be issued later.

5.8. Skid Framing and Multi wheel
To accommodate using Skidding method for load-out of CPP2 Jacket and Multiwheel for PHE-12 and
PHE-24, all jacket will be arranged on support during construction. This support shall be used to
transfer load from Jacket.
The PHE-12 and PHE-24 jacket shall be loaded out by using Multiwheel while the CPP2 will use
skidding method instead.
Calculation for CPP2 Skid-framing Design and PHE-24 & PHE-12 Multiwheel support will be described
in a calculation note. The maximum reaction forces on each Jacket leg from all cases of Jacket
Loadout Analysis and Jacket Transportation Analysis will become the basis for this support design.
While the calculation shall be described in :

5.9. Load-Out
Load-Out Shall be done after erection is complete. PHE-12 and PHE-24 Jacket shall be loaded out by
using multiwheel while the CPP2 uses skidding.
The document that described this load-out procedure is as follow :

5.10. Lifting Analysis
Lifting analysis will be presented and provided in lifting procedure.
Lift Load
There are things that need to be considered as Lift Load in API RP2A-WSD :
- Dynamic Amplification Factor (DAF).( value = 1.15)
- Contingency weight (value = 1.03)
Rigging Equipment
For rigging equipment, Maximum Breaking Load (MBL) of sling, Safe Working Load (SWL) of sling
shall be applied against lifting weight which had included the base weight and contingency.
Crane
CONTRACTOR will utilize crane for mobilize material and section / module lifting. Any crane used for
mobilizing material and erection process shall have valid certificate that was issued by :
- Disnaker for onshore yard.
- Migas for PHE-WMO Premises
