INTRODUCTION- Janani suraksha yojana is the national maternity benefits scheme has been modified into a new scheme called janani suraksha yojana.it was lauched on 12 th april 2005 the objectives of the scheme are reducing maternal mortality and infant mortality through encouraging delivery at health institutional and focusing at institutional care among woman in below poverty line family
