MACHINARY IN INDUSTRY 8 Programmable logic controller (PLC) : The Siemens PLC 828D is a modular and highly flexible programmable logic controller (PLC) used primarily for industrial automation and control applications. It is part of the Siemens SINUMERIK series, designed to handle complex tasks in machine control, especially for CNC (Computer Numeric Control) systems. The 828D PLC is known for its advanced processing power, high-speed I/O (input/output), and smooth integration capabilities with other Siemens automation components, such as motors, sensors, and drives. It supports a variety of communication protocols, which makes it adaptable for different industries, including manufacturing, automotive, and packaging.

9. 2.Transformer : 9 A 750 kVA transformer is a medium to large-capacity electrical device designed to step up or step down voltage in various applications, such as industrial, commercial, or large residential systems. With a power rating of 750,000 volt-amperes (kVA), it can supply substantial power to equipment or systems requiring high amounts of electricity. The primary voltage can range from medium to high voltages 22kv while the secondary voltage is typically lower, such as 415 V or 240 V, depending on the application. The transformer’s current ratings depend on its voltage levels, with primary currents usually in the range of tens of amps and secondary currents reaching thousands of amps.

It offers flexible control options, including Volts/Hertz (V/F), Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), and Flux Vector Control (FVC), ensuring optimal performance across different motor-driven systems. The drive features an intuitive user interface, making setup and maintenance straightforward. Integrated safety functions such as Safe Torque Off (STO) and Safe Speed Monitoring (SSM) enhance overall operational safety.
