About This Presentation

Analysis of Jennifer's Body Script.

Slide Content

Date when the draft was written
The title of the film is written in
capital letters at the top centre of
the page which is the house style
of all scripts. This is commonly
followed by the scriptwriter.
This is the scene heading
showing where the scene
takes place. From this specific
heading you can see that the
scene takes place inside (INT.)
at a Hospital in the daytime
(DAY).
When a character is
first mentioned their
full name is used.
Character’s names are
always in Capital
letters. In this case her
age has also been
shown for extra detail
of the character.
The action describes
what is happening and
what the audience can
see on screen.
This is an extension
showing that this is a voice
over; these are always
placed on the right of a
character’s name.
Key props are
also in capital
letters.
This is a parenthetical
for the actor as to how
the dialogue should be
read
Scripts are always written
in Courier new, font size 12
on plain white A4 paper. If
a script is not in this format
it will not be read.
