5. One day, as Jesus was travelling, he met ten lepers.
Their bodies were bandaged and covered with sores.
They had heard about Jesus and wanted him to heal
them. Jesus told them to go and show themselves to
the priests.

6. As they walked along something special happened.
They started to feel better!
They took off
their bandages
and could see
that their sores
had healed!

7. Nine of the lepers
carried on walking.
But one leper ran back
along the path.

8. Jesus was pleased that
this man had returned
but wondered where
the other men were.
The leper threw
himself at Jesus’ feet
and thanked him.
The others were too
busy celebrating and
did not bother to say
thank you.
