CONTENT STANDARD The learner demonstrates understanding of: Philippine literature in the Period of Emergence as a tool to assert one’s identity; strategies in listening to and viewing of informative and short narrative texts; word relationships and associations; informative speech forms; and use of direct/reported speech, passive/ active voice, simple past and past perfect tenses, and sentence connectors .
PERFORMANCE STANDARD: The learner transfers learning by: showing ways of asserting one’s identity; comprehending informative and short narrative texts using schema and appropriate listening and viewing strategies; expressing ideas, opinions, and feelings through various formats; and enriching written and spoken communication using direct/reported speech, active/passive voice, simple past and past perfect tenses and connectors correctly and appropriately.
LEARNING COMPETENCY: MELC: Use the appropriate oral language, stance and behavior when giving information, instructions, making explanations, and narrating events. (EN7OL-II-g-2.6.2---EN7O-III-b-3). At the end of the lesson the students are expected to; a. define oral language, stance and behavior in oral communication; b. recite different examples of oral communication through discussion; and c. apply appropriate oral language, stance and behavior through differentiated group activity.

ORAL COMMUNICATION ORAL COMMUNICATION, we are communicating with spoken words. We are transmitting information and ideas from one individual or group to another. Our language skills or ability to communicate through speaking, developed over time.
ORAL LANGUAGE Oral language the process of utilizing knowledge and skills to speak and listen effectively through the proper use of true to life ideas or information words and grammar. We can use variety of tones such as formal tone, Informal tone and sad tone.
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR Appropriate behavior, how you act and deliver a text through different facial expressions such as happy, sad, angry, maintaining eye contact showing good boys true and smile using your head to one side.
STANCE The Stance a manner and position in which person stand keep a good posture when speaking.
5 QUALITIES OF EFFECTIVE SPEAKER Confidence - confidence is huge when it comes to public speaking being confident in your delivery will allow you to be expert on your topic. Confidence makes you credible knowledgeable and believable. Passion- let your audience know why you do what you do and why do you want to share your message.
Ability to be succinct- it’s important to keep your presentation short and straight to the point. Ability to tell a story- presentation is more effective in engage in when it doesn't feel like a presentation know how to tell your story to your audience. Audience awareness- know your audience before going into your presentation by knowing some of their information will be able to connect and present to them in a way that you feel they would respond to and learn about.

GROUP ACTIVITY Group yourselves into 3. Each group will be given three situations that you are going to portray in the class. Act 1: a vlog on how to cook hard boiled egg. Act 2: Create a dialogue with your group mates showing a conversation with your friends about a certain issue. Act 3: Act as teacher that giving a lecture to the students.
