2. INTRODUCTION The johari window developed by joseph luft and harry ingham in 1995. The  Johari window  is a technique that helps people better understand their relationship with themselves and others . It's a simple and useful tool for understanding and training: self-awareness. personal development. improving communications

3. INTRODUCTION The model was called johari after cobining the first names of the founder joe of joseph luft and harry of harry ingham . In early publication the word appears as johary window it was later modified to johari . The johari window represent self awareness of an individual towards himself or herself and help to development of communication.

DEFINITON According to “Suresh k sharma ” The johari window model is a simple and useful tool for illustrating and improving self awareness and mutual understanding between individual within a group. According to “ Veerbhadra ” The johari window is a communication model that can be used to improve understanding between individual.

12. 1.Pre Interaction Phase :- The pre interaction phase begin before the nurse first look contact with the patient

13. 2.Orientation Phase :- During the orientation phase the nurse sets the stage for one to one relationship to the patient.

14. Working Phase :- The nurse and the patient explore relevant and promote the development of insight by linking feeling perception.

15. 4.Termination Phase :- It is the most difficult but most important phase of therapeutic relationship. It is the time to exchange feeling and memories.
