Mr. Herman is an American screenwriter, who is
known for his work in the movie “Straight Outta
Compton”. He received many award nominations,
includingBest Original Screenplayat the 88th
Academy Awards. He is known for movies such as
“Boogie Nights” (1997) Featuring Mark Wahlberg,
Julianne Moore, and Burt Reynolds, “The Talented
Mr. Ripley” (1999) Featuring Matt Damon,
Gwyneth Paltrow and Jude Law, and “Under the
Tuscan Sun” (2003) Featuring Diane Lane, Raoul
Bova and Sandra Oh.
Mr. Herman connects with his audience through his
storytelling. He uses difficult characters and themes
that are very emotional. Mr. Herman, writes to
capture human experiences and relationships, by
creating engaging content that pulls on the
audiences’ emotions. His writings are authentic, and

relates through human experiences. He entertains by creating narratives that are emotional and cause introspection and
self contemplation. Through his work, Savidge engages his audience by leaving lasting impacts from the movie
experience. He uses relatable characters to tackle meaningful topics to engage with his audiences.

actor and the son of Rapper Ice Cube and plays his father

Olson, also “Den of Thieves” (2018) Featuring Gerard
Butler and Pablo Schreiber.
Being the son of a rapper gives him the ability to bring
authenticity to the character, his natural talent gives him
the ability to be relatable to his viewers.

Mitchell has an ability to connect with his
audiences through his wide range of emotions and
experiences. Known for his ability to bringing his
characters to life and portraying emotional roles,
his goal is to leave a lasting impact through each
character.

such as social issues and character development. Straight Outta Compton
focuses on the music industry and social impact while Boyz N The Hood
focuses on personal experiences and relationships within a particular
community.
Straight Outta Compton shows a groups journey through the music
industry and their impact on cultural and social issues.
Boyz N The Hood shows the realistic portrayal of a group of urban young
people who struggle with life, friendship, family and survival of the
streets.
