TITLE: Knowledge and awareness about kangaroo care hospital Kangaroo care (KC) is the practice of skin-to-skin contact between infant and parent. Kangaroo care is the result of intensive research and exhaustive studies and revolving around the different needs of customers. Kangaroo care have been practiced by holding the baby skin to skin with mother.

Sangeetha Lakshmi (2013) “Knowledge and Awareness about Benefits of Kangaroo Mother Care” the research conducted to determine mother’s prior knowledge of Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) and awareness about benefits of KMC for preterm babies, a consecutive sample of 45 preterm babies in the period of 3 months and it find that 58.1% parents are aware about the KMC and they taken a service from kangaroo care hospital. Ravi Prakash(2018) “Kangaroo Mother Care: using formative research to design an acceptable community intervention” it aims to a major proportion of low birth weight and they conducted formative research to assess the feasibility, and adoption they conduct the qualitative methods of 40 interviews and 6 group discussions and they found that most mothers are realized that babies born small required special care and most mothers perceived benefits such as weight gain and increased activity in the infant, formative research is essential for developing a strategy for delivery of an intervention. They come out with the skin-to- skin contact of the mother and infants and it reduce pain in the medical treatment. The customers of the kangaroo care hospital are aware and it is trusted 1300+ families by good treatments and perceived services At the time of treatments some problems are founded they are lack of nurses, cost of service is too high, etc… FINDINGS

Kangaroo care hospital is following the proper method of practicing kangaroo care , it should achieve the objective of the hospital and content about kangaroo care should be continue to be put in all maternity and medical textbooks and care guides. promoting skin-to- skin concept and satisfying the customers and their families.
