Regional Names : Marathi – Kakadshingi Hindi - Kakadsighi Telgu – Kankdashringi English - Galls

MORPHOLOGY : Trees – 8 to 10 meter tall Bark – Dark smoky Leaf – compound (5-12cm),long lanceolate leaflet in 4-6 pairs Flower – Large,oblonge,deep red. Fruit- It is drupe,Glabrous when it riped Upayktanga – Kosha gall fruit and bark Habitat : western himalayas upto 2000 m height
