Early childhood is a very important period of life.It is a period when
children learn an enormous amount about the every day world. The
spirit and essence of our educational process lies in the overall
development of the children. At MPS Kindergarten education caters
to holistic and balanced curriculum. Teaching and learning is play
based and child centered and focuses on children's skills and
confidence in each area. We organise opportunities for children to
learn through play and hands-on activities to develop physical,
cognitive, social and emotional skills.
With spacious and exciting outdoor spaces, children learn to control
and challenge their developing body and movement skills.
Kindergarten classroom environment supports children to explore
and learn at their own pace, they therefore play a significant part in
stimulating children’s passion for learning and exploration.Through
an active ,reciprocal exchange, teaching can strengthen learning
and this is the focal point of MPS curriculum.
"Children are a box of crayons. Each of them is unique, but when
put together the picture is complete."

Fine and Gross are the two important
skills for the development of a child at
the early stage. Fun filled activities like
crumbling a paper, tracing, dabbing,
beading, jumping, crawling, throwing etc
were indeed a learning experience for
the tiny tots.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING @ MPS
Learning is the process whereby knowledge is
created through the transformation of experience
Fun & frolic at the farm
Animals can be entertaining and educational.
MPS introduced a small animal farm in the school premises to teach
children respect for animals and that they are a valuable product.
The tiny tots not only learnt where their food comes from but also had
hands on experience of milking a cow, art of fishing, feeding animals
and taking care of them. This experiential learning was a step to
connect the kids to their agricultural heritage thereby teaching them
valuable skills.
