Perselisihan dan Persetujuan Nasab Rasulullah yang disepakati para ulama hanya dari Abdullah sampai Adnan N asab dari Adnan ke atas , para ulama berbeda pendapat Syekh Dr. Muhammad Sa’id Ramadhan al- Buthi mengomentari hal ini dengan mengatakan :   أَمَّا مَا فَوْقَ ذَالِكَ فَمُخْتَلَفٌ فِيْهِ، لَا يُعْتَمَدُ عَلَيْه في شَيْئٍ غَيْرُ أَنَّ مِمَّا لَا خِلَافَ فِيْهِ أَنَّ عَدْنَانَ مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ابْنِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ خَليْلِ اللهِ عَلَيْهِمَا الصَّلَاةُ والسَّلامُ   “ Adapun nasab Rasulullah di atas Adnan, para ulama berbeda pendapat , tidak ada yang bisa dianggap paling shahih .
