Description 1-700 males have it. Simptoms : Reduce fertility Weak muscles Hypogonadism Gynecomastia lanky Increases the chance of getting: male breast cancer osteoporosis germ cell tumors. It is an extra X chromosome

Social As babies: They are less-confident, less-active, more helpful and obedient than other boys. As teens: Tend to be more shy and quiet. Struggle in school and sports. As Adults: They have the same lives as a man without klinefelters syndrome.

Treatment Should be seen by a team of healthcare providers : endocrinologists , general practitioners pediatricians speech therapists genetic counselors psychologists Surgery to reduce breast size. (starting during puberty) Testosterone for development of muscles, bones, and male sex characteristics. Infertility need special treatment.
