THINKof a lesson you had as a learner. Think about your feelings, the
other learners, your new teacher, your expectations, your fears and your
first impressions of the subject. Make a list of positive and negative aspects
that you remember as a learner.

PAIR–Join in groups of 3 or 4 and share your experiences. Describe some
of the positive and negative aspects. Think in the role of the learner: What
do you ideally want to happen in a first lesson? What do you not want to
happen? Make a list of Dreams and Dreads as learner.

SHARE the wildest dream and the darkest dread with the rest of the class.
