Basic Leadership Style Autocratic Bureaucratic Laissez-faire Democratic

Autocratic Leadership Style I ndividual control over all decisions and little input from group members .   They make choices based on their ideas and judgments and rarely accept advice from followers Staffs expected to obey orders without receiving any explanations Structured set of rewards and punishments

Democratic Leadership Style Also called as Participative Style Encourage and motivate staffs to be a part of decision making Keep staffs informed about everything that affects their work and shares decision making and problem solving abilities

Laissez-faire Leadership Style Also known as delegative leadership L eaders  are hands-off and allow group members to make the decisions and resolves problem on their own.

Transformational Leadership Leaders  encourage, inspire and motivate employees to innovate and create change that will help grow and shape the future success of the company . Make changes happen in Self, Others, Group and Organizations Charismatic leaders they will be.

Transactional Leadership L eadership style that requires workers to perform to a strict set of standards . Leaders  promote compliance by followers through both rewards and punishments. Through a rewards and punishments system, transactional leaders are able to keep followers motivated for the short-term.

Situational Leadership A good Leader will change intuitively between styles according to people and work they deal with They will act likely to the situations they deal with Leader  or manager of an organization must adjust his style to fit the development level of the followers he is trying to influence.
