2. What…   Trotsky is a member of the Communist party of the Sovient Union. He is best known for his analysis of fascism.

3. Where… Trotsky was born in Kirovohrad , Ukraine. With a population of 239,400 at the time.

4. When… Born on November 7, 1879. He was a Sovient , he belonged to the communist party of the Sovient Union. Leon was in office from November 8, 1917-March 13, 1918. President of the Retrograd Sovient .

5. Why… Trotsky became a politician in 1896 after moving the Russia. At first he was a Narodik which is a populist then he was introduced to Marxism. First he worked underground, trying to split the growing divide among Marxists in Russia. Then he sided with the Bolsheviks until Stalin forced him to flee Russia for his life.

6. How… After the Russian Social-Democratic Workers' Party split in 1903, Trotsky became a Menshevik, allying himself with Lenin's opponents. Then when he returned to St. Petersburg he helped lead the Russian Revolution of 1905.

7. Interesting facts… Born as Lev Davidovich Bronshtein . He changed his name after escaping Siberia in 1902, with a forged passport using his now-name, Trotsky. He was born into a Russian Jewish family, who were not known to be religious, in 1879.  

8. Continue… Leon Trotsky was assassinated by a Spanish Communist on August 21, 1940 at the age of 60. He was married twice, the first time was to Aleksandra Sokolovskaya , and the second was to Natalia Sedova .
