•In English, we only have one way to say possessive
adjectives:
–My, your, his/her, our , their
•In French, because all objects are either masculineor
feminineand all adjectives must agree…there are 3
different forms!

•Pronunciation reminder: You must form the
liaisonafter mon, ton, son, mes, tes, ses
–Mon oncle, tes amis, son amie
•If you have a singular object that is
feminine, but begins with a VOWEL…
–you must use mon, ton, and son

REMEMBER: The gender of the owner doesn’t
matter…it’s the gender of the object owned!
