Keynote address for the Orange County Library System

Description: Patrick “PC” Sweeney’s keynote address will help attendees understand advocacy as well as political power and influence through the context of personal relationships, professional networks, and coalitions. Attendees will discuss why relationships matter and how larger advocacy campaigns and political campaigns rely on relationships to launch movements. The session will also explore the potential for positive library messaging and storytelling and communications to increase community support.
