What is Library Search ? This guide explains how to search for a journal article on Library Search Searches all library resources in one go including books, journals, conference proceedings, reports, and film Searches across all subject areas Results are displayed with the most relevant first Access full-text if available online.

Type the article title into the search box…. ….select ‘Articles+’ from the drop-down menu and click on the search symbol.

If the article is available from our resources it will appear in your search results ….click here to access the article…. Click on ‘Available Online’…. ….you will be taken to an online resource which the library subscribes to (in this case IEEE Xplore ) where you can access the full-text article. Click on ‘PDF’ to view the full text of the article.

Or you can search using the journal title Select ‘Journal Title Search’ from the top menu in Library Search …. ….enter the journal title into the search box and then click on the search symbol…. ….if we subscribe to the journal it will appear in your search results. Click on ‘Available Online’ (continued on next slide.

You now see more information about the journal Click on this link…. ….and you will be taken to the relevant online resource (in this case IEEE Xplore ), where you can access the journal.
