DAY OF THE DEAD? HALLOWEEN?
Notice that during this celebration days, there are practices such as sorcery, witchcraft, and
satanic rituals.
Halloween is celebrated on October 31
st
, during this celebration there is the participation
of the massive media, commerce, schools, theaters, rock bands, movie theaters, and there
are involved many Christian churches, nowadays.
The economic religious system of the world has made it to be understood as an opportunity
to enjoy of: “a friendly party!” within the celebration, there are costumes contests, altars,
and the opportunity to become a witch, ghost, elf, fairy, werewolf, vampire, magician,
demons, mummies, extraterrestrials, etc…
Many children ask for candies, sweeties, and become mischievous. Some others watch
horror movies or go to cemeteries at midnight. Moreover, there are spiritual reunions set
by “Mediums”, whom are nothing else than people possessed by demons.
During this celebration there is an increment in the sale of books related to witchcraft,
magic, sorcery, etc. Besides the radio and television, private and public schools are also
great promoters of this event. Even more, people consult horoscopes, and some people go
to consult fortune tellers.
In the Bible, in Leviticus 19:31 Adonai banned to consult enchanters or fortune tellers. In a
similar manner, it occurs in Deuteronomy 18:10 and further verses.
Pop Gregory IV instituted “All Saints Day” in the year 834 C. E. This celebration generates
many economic profits for concepts of: 1. Prayer for the dead, 2. Masses dedicated to dead
people, 3. Prayers for the souls of people that are in the limbo or purgatory, 4. “Blessings
with holy water” of mausoleums and crypts at cemeteries.
Altars dedicated to the visit of the dead are more common in Mexico: Janitzio, in
Michoacán, Catemaco, in Veracruz, Teotihuacan, etc.
