The Story of Us Documentary by the History channel The Story of Us is a documentary detailing the history of America and is often seen as an engaging way to teach history. However, it is an example of bad political writing becase: It’s overtly political agenda make the documentary less focused on factual information and more focused on opinions. Storytelling elements are ruined with political agenda’s It’s attempt to show America in a positive light instead of a nuetral one ruin the storytelling elements.

Good political writing Ever so subtle It’s a good story, not cliche and not boring. When you think about the story, you can figure out what it’s implying. It’s all political It can all tie back to politics With this new definition, we can unlock a whole new world of what political means. We can look at works from artist and writers all across history and specifically imagine how society operated in that time period. From that we can look at how a certain piece or art has the goal to influence the writers society in that time period. This ultimately gives us a much broader understanding of literature as a whole and allow us to reflect and see society from a different perspective. Read from book pages 118 and 119 clips.
