can speak (anonymously) about their
opinions/lives.
•Cricket commentary can also be listened
on radios live.
LIVE TELEVISION
•Television production broadcast in
real-time, as events happen, in
the present.
•Morning shows, breaking news,
entertainment shows (award
functions or tributes).

LIVE BLOGGING
Blog post which is intended to provide
a rolling textual coverage of an ongoing
event, similar to Live television or live
radio.
•Single post – continuously updated
with time stamps.
•Events including sports games,
elections ceremonies, conferences,
conventions and gatherings, protests
and conflicts natural events and
disasters are live blogged normally.
LIVE STREAMING
Multimedia that is constantly received
by and presented to an end-user while
being delivered by a streaming provider.
•Delivers live over the Internet, involves:
–camera for the media,
– an encoder to digitize the content,
– a media publisher, and
–a content delivery network to
distribute and deliver the content.
•A broadband speed of 2.5 Mbps or more is
recommended for streaming movies.
•Podcast and webcast also come under
streaming media.
