Literary Term: Imagery Definition: The use of language to bring to mind a picture or a concrete sensation of a person, a thing, a place, or an experience.

Literary Term: Imagery Imagery can give the reader an impression of any of the five senses: taste, touch, smell, sight, and sound.

Imagery Examples “The golden yellow sunlight filtered down through the pale new leaves on the oak trees, coming to rest on Jessica's brown toes that were splayed in the red Georgia mud .”
