During Pooja, we worship betel nuts as Ganesh ji. Assuming something different than what is
visible is the beginning of our spirituality. A Guru is like a normal human being. But you see God
in him, you see what the eyes cannot see. To believe in what you don't see is the beginning of
spirituality.
In Wales, I conducted a workshop for reporters. Someone asked, I really liked the workshop and
now I want to spread this technique to my other reporter friends but I am unsure about how to
describe it to them. You and I look alike, so how do I tell them that you are different? There was
a mountain behind where I was sitting, I pointed that to her and said that everyone wants to
reach the peak of that mountain. But one person after sixty years of practice was able to reach
the peak of that mountain. He didn't remain there. Instead, realizing that many people may want
to go there as well, slowly he came down removing all the obstacles and made a portal. He
showed the path to everyone who wished to go to the peak. And millions have reached the peak
after following that path. True, your body and my body look the same. But my body is connected
with millions of souls. That is the difference between guru and disciple
There are 3 kinds of people. Some are always looking for instant gratification ‘ bhogi’ , which is
never ending. Then there are people who are physically or mentatlly sick or ‘ rogi ’. There is a
difference in being mentally ill vs physically sick. Mental sickness is unrecognizable, it has
increased a lot in the past year. Even family members don't take it seriously. Pay attention to
your family members before it reaches extreme. The third kind of people are who we call ‘ yogi ’,
their whole life is connected with God. No matter what happens they accept every outcome,
positive or negative, as a grace of God.
Today’s program is being watched by millions of people, many of whom are watching it for the
first time. Let me tell you , what is Samarpan Dhyan Sanskar?
Universal consciousness is Parmtatma. Parmatma is formless unlike God. You can sense it but
not see it. You can only feel it. It is inside us. Until we don’t go inward, we cannot feel it.
There is only one religion in Samarpan, it is Humanity. For the last 800 years, saints in the
Himalayas have felt that methods of worshipping have been used as a way to awaken humanity.
However, they are based on preaching and karma bound. They make us focus on the outside,
which cannot lead us to moksha. Methods of worship were to civilize humans and to awaken
humanity by doing good deeds. But they don’t lead to a karma free state. Dhyaan yog is the
only way to reach karma free state. With it your physical sense diminishes completely, and no
bad deeds remain. You only do good things and not get attached to them either. That is why in
any of our ashram we never put the name of the donor. In the Himalayas there is a sanskar
which reaches a normal human being. This is not a method, it's a sanskar. There are no rules in
this method. Your soul will become your Guru.
Third is medium. Guru, satguru, and medium
Guru gives knowledge through physical form.
Satguru who gets knowledge but is not authorised to share it.
Medium is like an empty pipe who can help you go inward.
