4. December 13, 1946- Nehru moved ‘Objective Resolution’ It laid down the fundamental and philosophy of constitutional structure January 22, 1947- Resolution adopted

5. Constituent body- Chaired by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Legislative body- Chaired by G V Mavlankar 11 sessions over 2 years, 11 months and 18 days Referred constitution of 60 countries Expenditure- 64 Lakh Rs. January 24, 1950- Final Session

7. November 26, 1949- Constitution adopted Contained Preamble, 395 Articles and 8 Schedules January 26 chosen as ‘ Date of Commencement’ of constitution. Reason? - Because on this day in 1930 ‘ Purna Swaraj’ day was celebrated following the resolution of Lahore session of INC (Dec 1929)
