The document provides information about Bako Lam (Laminate) and its potential entry into the supply chain of ark glass products. It discusses the four enterprise areas for various applications of laminated glass, such as Automotive, Fenestrations, Candle stone, and Facades. The document also mentions the primary goals of Bako Lam, which include developing the instance attribution for laminates, task branding for easy identification, and finding partners for simulations. It further highlights the areas of growth for Bako Lam, the plan for product launch, the areas of focus (production instance, multi-agency simulations and supply chain), and the timeline for the company's activities. The document concludes with a summary and mentions the upcoming simulations report in Part II, which provides more details about the impact of Bako Lam on the glass industry. https://www.slideshare.net/slideshow/comments-on-making-the-retrofit-parts-i-ii-pdf/269607156

Introduction
A company called Bako Laminate wishes to find
an entry path to configure their own laminate into
the ark glass products in specific task areas:
2
Part I: Task Branding
1.Automobile Windshields: Laminated glass is widely used inautomobile windshields. When a car is involved in an
accident, the laminated windshield prevents the glass from shattering into dangerous shards, reducing the risk of injury to
passengers.
2.Skylight Glazing: Laminated glass is also commonly used inskylights. It provides both safety and natural light, making it an
ideal choice for overhead glazing.
3.Hurricane-Resistant Construction: In geographical areas prone to hurricanes or other natural disasters, laminated glass is
used inexterior storefronts, curtain walls, andwindows. Its ability to withstand impact and remain intact is crucial for
safety during extreme weather events.
4.Sound Insulation: Laminated glass significantly improvessound attenuationcompared to monolithic glass panes of the
same thickness. It is used to increase the sound insulation rating of windows, reducing noise from outside.
5.UV Protection: The interlayer in laminated glass can block nearly allultraviolet (UV) radiation.
For example, a thermoset
ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) interlayer can block up to 99.9% of UV rays

6.Artistic Expression: Laminated glass can be used forartistic purposes, allowing designers to incorporate color and
patterns while maintaining transparency. 7.Security Applications: Laminated glass is ideal for applications that requiresecurity. It reinforces protection against forced
entry, blasts, and even providesbullet resistance.
Remember, whether it’s protecting occupants during a car crash or enhancing the aesthetics of a building, laminated glass plays a crucial role in safety and design

BAKO Lam Business Model
•This original agile model was used
to develop a product load and
portfolio basis for BAKO Lam
Products.
•BAKO Lam will grow with the
industry applications as we begin
to cross-mentor their industrial
development with the whole Magi
& Marcus organization.
•Architectural Services will be very
important as curtain wall and
other applications take on higher
significance to Ark based glass
industry. The importance of glass
becoming strong like steel is a
major benefit.
