Consumer Health - pertains to the aspects of wise purchase of health products and services to obtain ultimate satisfaction and wellness of the body.
Importance of Consumer Health - People should be aware of the vital health topics and be educated about preventive medicine and servicesin order to achieve good quality. - Provides individuals with knowledge, skills and aptitudes, values and capacity to become responsible consumers.
Consumer health helps people on the following aspects: 1. Acquire knowledge of laws to protect health 2. Manage Time and Money 3. Get information about health products and their effects to health through technology 4. Acquire knowledge of laws to protect health 5. Choose heartful entertainment. 6. Health Fraud - dishonest promotion, advertising, distribution, or sale of articles claimed to be effective in diagnosing, curing, or treating an illness or condition, or providing a beneficial effect on health but have not been scientifically proven safe and effective.
Victims of health fraud 1. Those who fall short of developing the correct altitude and orientation on health. 2.
