Historic Nob Hill
Built in 1958, the Nob Hill Masonic
Center has been a part of San
Francisco’s culture for many years.
Built of solid marble, there are many
artistic features to the building,
including the famous one-of-a-kind
mosaic window that dominates the
entrance foyer, crafted by Emile
Norman. This historical window,
fabricated in the endomosaic process,
incorporates thousands of bits of
metal, parchment, felt, linen, silk,
natural foliage, thinly sliced
vegetable matter, shells and sea
life, plus 180 colors of stained
glass.

Time for some changes…
The Nob Hill Masonic Center has been a
part of San Francisco’s culture for over
50 years. The building has hosted numerous
concerts and special events throughout the
years, from Frank Sinatra to Steely Dan,
corporate conferences, naturalization
ceremonies, graduations and more. Live
Nation plans to renovate the auditorium &
California Room to make the venue more
flexible and current.
