As we move through each year, we have four different seasons. Seasons The seasons are marked by changes in the weather, plants and animals. Can you remember the names of the four seasons? spring summer autumn winter
Spring starts cold but gets warmer. There is often lots of rain. Seasons In spring flowers like snowdrops, daffodils and tulips grow. Trees grow blossoms and then new, green leaves. Many baby animals are born in the spring and birds lay their eggs.
Summer is warm and sunny. Many flowers bloom in the summer and trees are full of green leaves. Baby birds and animals grow and become strong in the summer. Seasons
Autumn is often windy and much cooler. Animals get ready for the winter months ahead. Leaves turn brown and fall from the trees. Seasons
Winter is cold and wet. Sometimes, there is snow. Most trees have no leaves and not many flowers bloom. Animals grow thick fur or feathers to keep warm. Some animals sleep all winter to save energy. Seasons
