Since taking over the company in 2006, when the business ran seven restaurants, Matt would lead expansion efforts to include over 240 DQ Grill and Chills, operated with the help of 9,000 team members across thirteen states. Matt graduated from St. Olaf College and continued at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management, where he received his MBA.

Matt Frauenshuh began running his
family’s Dairy Queen franchises. What
started in 2002 as one DQ Grill & Chill
in Minnesota under the family
company, Fourteen Foods, would grow
to 240 Dairy Queen restaurants
throughout 13 states. Matt is the Chief
Executive Officer for Fourteen Foods
and also serves as Principal for
Frauenshuh Inc. Fourteen Foods is now
the largest DQ franchise in the U.S.

states. He sits on the national board
for the Salvation Army and is also an
active YPO member. Matt Frauenshuh
is a resident of Franklin, Tennessee,
and he is a proud husband and father.

CEO for his family’s business, Fourteen
Foods.
