How does media help improve economy?
I. Spread Information
I. Spread Information The media can expose corruption. They can keep a check on public policy by throwing a spotlight on government action . They let people voice diverse opinions on governance and reform, and help build public consensus to bring about change. Such media help markets work better. They can facilitate trade, transmitting ideas and innovation across boundaries .
II. Advertisements
Advertising Is a Major Industry Advertising supports the core principles that shaped our nation: free speech, competition, and democracy. Since colonial times, advertising has provided a source of vital information about our open, market-based economy . It causes an economic chain reaction that (A) generates a net gain in direct sales and jobs due to the promotion of the industries’ products and services, (B) generates indirect sales and jobs among the first level suppliers to the industries that incur the advertising expenditures , and (C) generates indirect sales and jobs among all other levels of economic activity as the sales ripple throughout the economy.
III. Online Job Applications
III. Online Job Applications Online recruitment is the process of hiring individuals who were first chosen online. It is now commonplace, with the majority of job seekers in the US engaging in some form of online job search activity. The range of the online middlemen that connect employers and candidates and enable online recruitment varies. They range from (‘Job board’ or ‘Job search engines’) which facilitate searching by posting information about employees or job openings, to (‘Online labor markets’) which do both by facilitating communication between employers and candidates online. A subset of online labour markets also provides an infrastructure that allows for online management of the work process and payment systems.
What is The Importance of Media in Economy?
Importance of Media in Economy The main relationship between media and economic development lies in the function of the media as a source for the dissemination of information regarding political reforms and policies aimed at economic development . In order to achieve economic development, there has to be a concerted level of coordination between the government and the citizens, rather than one of conflict arising from misunderstanding.
