Introduction
Medical coding is the process of converting a patient's
healthcare information into universal alphanumeric codes. These
codes are used for a variety of purposes, including billing
research, and population health statistics.
Parts of system:
Function of System
The urinary system's main function is to filterblood and remove waste
products from the body in the form of urine:
Kidney:The kidney filter blood ,removing waste productslike urea
,uric acid ,salt and amino acids.The also regulate blood pressure.
Ureters:Narrow tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the
bladder.
Bladdor :Stores urine until its ready to be eliminated from the body.
Common diseases relevant to the system
Urinary tract infection: A bacterial infection that cause freqeun
urination,pain when urinating,cloudy or bloody urine and pelvic pain
pain women.
Kidney stones:Hard deposits made from mineral in urine that can
cause pain in the lower abdomen a back,bloody urine,nausea and
vomiting.
Bladder infection:usually caused by bacteria
Urinary incontinence:Loss of bladder control.
Enlarged prostate:Can make it difficult to empty the bladder.
Diabetic nephropathy :A Condition that can occur in people with
diabetesandcause severe tiredness,headache,nausea,and itchy skin .
