1. DISEASES AND TREATMENT ANIMAL BITE AND RABIES SNAKE BITE DRUG REACTIONS T2DM HTN MI SEIZURES

2. 1. ANIMAL BITE AND RABIES Inj. TT½cc IM Inj. ARV (Active Immunization) Essen regimen: 0,3,7,14,28 – IM Inj. Anti Rabies Ig / Anti sera(Passive Immunization) Wt. Of patient ×40IU ( Equine serum) or Wt ×20IU(Human serum)

4. 3. DRUG REACTIONS Inj. CPM( Avil ) IM - 10mg(adult) or 0.2 mg / kgwt (child) Inj. Hydrocortisone IV – 100mg(adult) or 2 mg/ kgwt (child) Inj. ADRENALINE IM – 0.5mg (in deltoid) 0.01mg / Kg wt. ( in A/L thigh- middle ⅓) {Repeat dose after 5mins if patient not improved} Nebulise with Salbutamol High flow O2 IVF 500–1000ml(A);20ml/Kg wt.(C) Inj Pantop 40mg or Inj. Rantac 50mg (A); 0.8mg/ Kgwt .(C)

5. 4. T2DM ∆sis : 1. RBS - ≥200mg/dl + Sy . Of DM( polyphagia,dypsia,uria ) 2. FBS - ≥125mg/dl on 2 seperate occasions 3. HBA1c - ≥6.5% Rx : 1. Lifestyle modification ( atleast 30 min exercise ;Low sugar ,High fat diet;Wt loss( since Obesity ~insulin resistance ) Followup for 3 months( Target HBA1C -<7%)
