About Us Mere Nearby is a market aggregator platform for all the small businesses (both service and product based). Inception: We started Mere Nearby in the year 2020 . We wish to empower small and marginal business owners who are not able to attain their true potential. We want to increase their reach and hence increase their business profitability. We have a special focus on the unorganized sector of the economy. We aim at transforming the unorganized sector economy which has remained neglected for long.
Sectors of our economy Unorganized sector means an enterprise owned by individuals or self-employed workers and engaged in the production or sale of goods or providing service of any kind whatsoever, and where the enterprise employs workers, the number of such workers is less than ten. Examples : House helps, daily wage workers/ laborers, painters, barbers, tailors etc. Organized Sector: It covers those enterprises or places of work where the terms of employment are regular and therefore, people have assured work.

WAY FORWARD In the future we plan on building a network of our own delivery partners. It aims at implementing the soul of Atmanirbhar Bharat Mission by generating jobs and broadening the reach of existing businesses. We also plan on imparting necessary skills to job seekers as well as people already engaged in some work. ( Existing workers can provide apprenticeship to new workers). Tie ups with skill development agencies can provide diploma or certification. Eventually it help in strengthening the local economy as well may help in a business to transit into organized sector. Thus, increasing revenue of the state as well as the nation.
